SUIS Gubei’s brilliant learners have shown excellent results this year for their outstanding performance in 2024, including the Canadian Chemistry Contest (CCC). We have won 3 Global Awards, 4 National Awards, and 1 Regional Honorable.

Canadian Chemistry Contest

The Canadian Chemistry Contest (CCC) fosters an appreciation of chemistry as a career for talented young people and promotes national excellence in chemistry at the high school level. The CCC is intended for the top 10% of Canadian high school students under 20 years of age taking chemistry. The CCO is intended for the awarded students in CCC. The Canadian Chemistry Olympiad (CCO) is an annual event that aims to promote interest in chemistry among high school students. Participation in the Canadian National Olympiad Finals or an international Olympiad is a tremendous experience and a unique opportunity to travel and meet fellow students from around the world who have similar interests.
JCCO is open to students in grades 8-11, and CCC is open to senior high school students only. Winners in the CCC can take CCO, and are also invited to register for the Canadian CCO Chemistry Camp (China).
加拿大化学测评系列由加拿大化学学会(Chemical Institute of Canada，简称 CIC)主办，是加拿大学术性最权威的化学测评活动之-。加拿大化学测评(初级)/JCCO是加拿大化学初阶测评，旨在培养化学优生对于化学奥林匹克的认知与兴趣。CIC鼓励 JCCO优生进一步参与加拿大化学测评(中级)/CCC。JCCO与CCC之间不是晋级关系，可以单独报名参与。在CCC中表现优异的学生将有机会参与到加拿大化学测评(高级)/CCO。CCC与CCO之间是晋级的关系，仅 CCC 获奖学生可晋级。在加拿大，CCO 的成绩决定了是否入选加拿大国家队集训营，从而有机会代表加拿大参与国际化学奥林匹克IChO。
加拿大化学测评系列的引进，让更多化学爱好者可以体验化学的魅力和加拿大顶级的化学学术活动。加拿大化学测评(初级)/JCCO开放给 8-11年级学生(通常在每年 12月进行)，加拿大化学测评(中级)/CCC 仅开放给高中生，在 CCC 中的获奖者可以参与加拿大化学测评(高级)/CCO。
