Our outstanding students at SUIS Gubei have achieved remarkable results in the British Biology Olympiad (BBO), claiming 4 Global Gold, 7 Global Silver, 6 Global Bronze, 1 Global Highly Commended and 6 Global Commended awards. Additionally, 4 students have qualified for St Catharine’s College Cambridge Biology Camp, and 11 have earned their spots in the BBO Asia Camp.

About British Biology Olympiad (BBO)
关于英国生物测评
The British Biology Olympiad was created in 1995, to stimulate students with an interest in Biology to expand and extend their talents.It is one of the largest science competitions in the UK with more than 10,000 high school students participating every year. It enables students to demonstrate their knowledge and to be suitably rewarded and publicly recognized through medals, certificates and other prizes.
The Intermediate Biology Olympiad tests students biology knowledge, and meanwhile, encourages them to continue studying the bio-sciences beyond school. Participants will get unique advantages when applying science majors in top universities.
Biology Challenge stimulates students’ curiosity for the natural world and encourages them to take an interest in biology outside of school by reading books and magazines,watching natural-history programs and keeping pace with news media.
英国生物测评(British Biology Olympiad，简称BBO)，自1995年设立至今已有28年历史，是英国中学历史最长、影响最大的理科测评活动之一，每年英国有近万名高中生参与。优胜者将有机会与英国考生统一排名，共同角逐英国国家生物奥林匹克金银铜牌，为申请全球顶级大学提供有力的学术证据，同时获得国际顶级科学类活动的邀请。
英国生物测评(中级)(Intermediate Biology Olympiad)面向高一、高二年级(GCSE和A1)，是英国生物测评的初阶活动。不仅考察学生的生物学知识，还鼓励他们在校外继续学习生物科学。成绩优秀者将增加世界名校医学、生物等理科专业申请优势。
英国生物测评(初级)(Biology Challenge)作为英国生物测评入门阶段活动，面向全球初中生物爱好者，旨在激发学生对自然界的好奇心，还希望通过测评活动鼓励他们在校外培养对生物学的兴趣。初级生物测评鼓励学生通过阅读书籍和杂志、观看自然历史节目、关注新闻媒体从而获得对生物学的兴趣、了解大自然动植物。
